Bravely going through health adversities, La Moutte maintain its course. You don't compromise with beauty, I would say. Though it is a goal that cannot reasonably be achieved, it gives us nonetheless a nice point of perspective, that suddenly makes us valiant.

I could say in good conscience that this year's programming allows us to surreptitiously appear in the big league, but I leave it to everyone to judge for themselves.

This first partnership with the Verbier Festival in the firmament of the European scene over the past ten years, honors us as much as it obliges us. This evening with the wonderful soprano Pretty Yende and the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, will be spectacular, festive, and shows you our ambition !

The presence on stage of Fabrice Luchini, his friend Renaud Capuçon and the pianist Guillaume Bellom, is in itself an event. It is the crystallization of their sincere desire : to create a poetic spectacle and give it to be heard for the first time at La Moutte. A deliberate choice for a place where acoustics and proportions are intimate. A unique performance, for one-night delighted listeners !

With Richard Bona, artist recognized as one of the five greatest planetary revelations of the last ten years, it is the assurance of a breath of talent and charm. And at his side, for this afro-cuban evening, the wonderful pianist Alfredo Rodriguez and the no less brilliant drummer Ludwig Afonso. The Los Angeles Times said recently : "Imagine an artist whose voice possesses the virtuosity of Jaco Pastorius, the vocal fluidity of Georges Benson and the sense of harmony of Joao Gilberto, all mixed with African culture... Ladies and gentlemen, this phenomenon is called Richard Bona ! "

A recital by the american singer Joyce DiDonato is a rare event, which no music lover can escape. Considered one of the most beautiful voices in the world, this lyrical mezzo-soprano, with crazy charisma, along with Craig Terry her essential pianist, will carry you far.

Finally, the recital by the pianist Alexandre Kantorow to close our festival is a choice of the heart. When he won the first prize in Moscow and the gold medal at the 2019 International Tchaikovsky Competition, he was immediately nicknamed the "French piano tsar". The reviews are laudatory and the audience enthusiastic.
How to conclude other than by engaging with talented youth to embody hope ?

Dear listeners, dear friends, the adventure continues by your side.

Welcome to La Moutte!

A message from the Festival team

We will remember our friend Dominique Viger, a member of our festival team, and suddenly swept away in the heart of this winter. We already miss his energy, his deep curiosity about subject matters and his benevolent humor.
