When music tells a story
In conjunction with the “Music and Literature” concert, this workshop invites children to explore the connections between storytelling, imagination, and the string quartet. It’s a fun way to experience how music can evoke images, characters, emotions, and an entire inner world.
Duration: 1 hour - Ages 7 and up.
Parents are asked to drop off their children 15 minutes before the session begins.

CINDY CLECH
Because she didn’t like pink but preferred leather jackets, Cindy began by learning jazz dance. She is now a contemporary dance and choreographic culture teacher at the Poitiers Conservatory. Cindy loves sharing her profession with passion with both children and adults, especially in unexpected settings. Curious and a music lover, she is convinced of the importance of everyone coming together around music in order to grow together.

FRANCOIS-XAVIER CAILLET
François-Xavier started playing the saxophone due to a misunderstanding, thinking he had enrolled in a trombone class! It is this adaptability that has shaped his relationship with music. Also a conductor and teacher for people with disabilities, François-Xavier is the educational coordinator of Démos Thouars, where he leads a symphony orchestra of one hundred children accompanied by thirty musicians.
